I'd heard horror stories about the overnight train, really, it was pretty good! We both slept well and shared a cabin with a Dutch lady and a local man (he did not say much). Yes the toilets were a little smelly, but we survived!!!
We were in a soft sleeper cabin, only 4 beds and it was pretty good! Did not eat the food, saw the food cart go by and can't say I would have been purchasing from it! We took our own snacks on board!
Must have improved since I went.... I shared with a local family of 8! How was the food? Unidentifiable is what I remember! Tegs
